PKAILabs ("we", "us", "our") is an AI Platform company based in Lahore, Pakistan. We build AI Employees for businesses — including PMC (construction project management intelligence), PKCHAT (bilingual WhatsApp & web chat customer support), and VOIP (voice AI). This policy covers data handled through our website and PKCHAT (our WhatsApp and web chat assistant). Data handling for PMC, our construction-intelligence platform, is governed by each client's individual service agreement.

When businesses use PKCHAT, our WhatsApp & web chat AI assistant, we may collect:

• Message content: Text messages sent to a business's WhatsApp number that is connected to our AI assistant.
• WhatsApp identifiers: The sender's WhatsApp phone number (wa_id) used to maintain conversation context.
• Conversation history: Prior messages in a session to provide contextual replies.
• Business contact information: Name, email, phone number, and company details provided by businesses when signing up for our service.
• Usage data: Anonymised metrics such as message counts, response times, and query categories for service improvement.

We do not collect payment card details, national identity numbers, or sensitive personal data as defined under Pakistani personal-data regulations.

• To provide AI-powered automated replies on behalf of the business client.
• To route messages to the correct knowledge base for that business.
• To escalate conversations to human staff when needed.
• To generate aggregated, anonymised performance metrics for the business client.
• To improve the accuracy and reliability of our AI systems.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Our WhatsApp Business AI assistant is built on the official Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Message delivery and telephony infrastructure is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and is governed by Meta's own WhatsApp Privacy Policy. We do not use unofficial or third-party WhatsApp libraries.

• All data is stored on servers located in Pakistan or within the business client's agreed jurisdiction.
• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.
• Access is restricted to authorised PKAILabs personnel only.
• Each business client's data is isolated by tenant — one client cannot access another client's data.

Conversation data is retained for up to 90 days for service quality purposes, then deleted unless a business client requests a shorter or longer period in their service agreement. Aggregated anonymised metrics may be retained indefinitely.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by PKAILabs.

Under applicable law you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (see section above).
• Object to certain types of processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.

Our website (pkailabs.io) uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management, plus Google Analytics 4 cookies that count visits and show us which pages people read. Google Analytics records the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser details. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell this data.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on any site with Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
